Beautiful hotel, we got upgraded to a premium room for free. They have two large pools, many restaurants. The bed was so comfortable.

Thanks to Jean, Alexis and the rest of the wonderful staff. My family & I had a relaxing stay at the Hotel & were treated exceptionally by the friendly & helpful staff. They even provided a scrumptious cake for my daughter's Birthday. We ate mainly at the Sun Coast Cafe and whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner the food was always presented well AND tasted great. The room was superb with a balcony looking out onto the beach and a recently renovated large bathroom including a spacious walk in shower. Other highlights were the spa treatment enjoyed by my wife & daughter and the snorkeling just off the hotel beach. We wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately we have to return to the UK to work to pay for our next holiday. Definitely recommend this hotel (The staff are exceptional) and will return.

Very nice resort hotel. Unlimited bath towels. Safe private beach. Nice breakfast. I stayed 6 nights with a partner.

We have stayed for seven nights at this resort for a family vacation. The Club facility just opened, so we just reserved a club room in the Intercontinental Club wing, which only has Club rooms with the lounge and a dedicated Club pool. The room was great. Perfect condition, a little bit small for the resort, but acceptable. The food is also delicious, considering the resort's Ocean and Club wings are both opened just recently. The issue was the service. I think at this hotel, absolutely no staffs have experience in luxury hotels. Some examples: 1. At restaurants and lounges, you always need to call a server to order food, more drinks, or check. I regularly went to the kitchen to get someone. 2. At the pool, the same thing happens. You have to open the heavy door to the lounge area in a swimsuit and ask for a server. What an embarrassment. 3. Every day after midnight, the hotel played music until morning. This is not a W hotel! I thought it didn't make sense, so I called and asked to turn it off. To my surprise, the person on the phone said he can not decide because he doesn't have the authority to stop the music. I said, you are the manager on duty, so you can do it if you want, and the question is whether you want to do it for me or not. Sigh. 4. There is a Club beach and a regular beach, both of which are not private to hotel guests. That's understandable, but there is no attendant at both beaches. No towels, no drinks, no chair setups. Nobody helps at all, and no phone. 5. The beach was relatively clean but dirtier than other Intercontinental resorts—some garbage, especially cigarettes and gravel. There were lifeguards on the beach, but they scolded us for just exceeding the buoys for only 1m. They were impolite. They also try to fold the umbrellas on the beach, with very light wind. The beach umbrellas look very cheap and not sturdy enough for this resort class. The beach chair size was laughable small, and you can't lay down. As you can see from my experiences, these issues shouldn't happen at all at luxury hotels—typical Japanese type services. Don't expect real service from this hotel. It's not worth the name of Club Intercontinental. I'm Spire Ambassador at IHG.
