This is an art museum. It is recommended to students who like art. Discount tickets are available for students. They show sketches of famous Japanese cartoonists. English explanations are not available here. If you cannot read Japanese, you can not understand the explanations which were displayed below the art works. However, you can enjoy the beautiful and attractive artworks.

This museum has comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the exhibition and can be accessed easily from Niigata Station.

Maybe not as big or as cool as the modern art museum in Kanazawa, but they always have really cool exhibitions here and they aren't so inaccessibly avant garde.

2020.10.31 I visited the Bandaijima Museum of Art to see the ceramic plate of Rut Bryk. You can enjoy many works slowly I saw a big work called "City" for a long time, but I can tell that it took a lot of time for the exhibition. (This work cannot be taken)
