I used to go there every year for about 10 years when a child was in elementary school, but I asked Mr. Otaki, a guesthouse, who stopped at the Kamome Shokudo in Kagaya for a bottle of beer and four ramen, and after getting 9000 yen. I forgot the name near me (green?) but the snack was good. I think it's about 25 years ago. There seems to be no snack.

I went to work at the ferry pass and didn't stop at the tourist information center (^ _ ^;)

Iwafune-karu ← → Tourist information office just in front of the place where Awashima boat arrives and departs.
Ship ticket depot, ship's waiting space, toilet, pamphlet storage area, business situation bulletin board of the meal inside the island, drink vending machines, rental bicycle rental and others. The second floor is a dining room.
The rental of the bicycle is very kind and the receptionist tells us a lot. If in doubt ask it.
In addition, it is too tight to go around the island with normal bicycle!
Since the slope appears regularly, considerable leg strength is required to be able to turn around in about 3 hours which is regarded as a guide.
Therefore, I would like to recommend electric bicycle. Pay attention to the different price system.
It plays a role as a ticket office for ferries. It is disappointing that there is a lot of clerical response as a tourist information facility with just an impression.
