This place is amazing. Super clean and cozy. Rooms are big and comfortable. The hosts are welcoming and make great food! Best place we’ve stayed in japan so far. Highly recommend you stay here during your time in myoko.
Myoko house was a great spot to stay! The rooms were spacious and clean. Akiko's Gyoza hotpot was top notch, and when we just wanted to cook a simple dinner the shared kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. They gave great recommendations for places to go in the area and illuminated some of the subtleties of the Japanese culture for us before we went to the onsens.

The hosts, Nathan & Akiko, are genuinely kind and helpful in every way, the breakfast (included) is always handmade and delicious. Their lodge is located close to the snow field and they have a cozy gyoza bar for dinner (vegan or with meat). My family had an extended stay and enjoyed every minute of it!
Chill venue and great little bar. Real cosy!
