amazing family run hotel wonderful staff big rooms. great communal sitting room with fire to unwind and outdoor Onzen is fabulous. Loved our stay and would recommend.

We tried to contact this hotel a week before our stay to get snow conditions. Many local guides told us was very poor. We tried to cancel one month before and were not able. Once trip got closer hotel would not respond to our emails. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this hotel to fellow skier and snowboarders. Don’t mind we got charged for cancelling but very unhelpful in returning emails

Great location in town, walk to the ski lifts. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice indoor and outdoor onsen. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay in Myoko. Great location close to restaurants and ski resorts. They speak very good english at the hotel. We fell sick during our visit and the hotel was very accomodating in helping us seek treatment from a local doctor including transportation. Highly recommended.

Would definitely go again. Had 3 nights and wished for more. Staff we very helpful and for us there was a shuttle available to and from the train station. They hyped the breakfast a little, which then still over delivered, so great (made the start to a snow day that much easier, fantastic mix of Western and Japanese style as a buffet). Onsen was a win and we locked out with a large room. Location wise very best to Akakura Onsen with a short (5min Max) stroll to access Akakura Kanko. (Hit a cracker of a Saturday powder day at Kanko and barely waited for a lift. Found Onsen a little mellow, but it would be great for learning. Would love to try others there). If you get a chance ask the team there to book your first nights meal if eating out. Things booked out fast, plenty of great food near by though if you book. (Thanks to the team at Kogakuro, I hope to be back).
