Mayumi Takahashi Doll Museum

Small but the dolls are quite unique and interesting to look at. There's a small cafe attached that's nice as well.

This was great once inside, the dolls are replicating real life of the Japanese which was awesome

Very interesting place

The dolls were very lifelike. It is small so don’t expect to spend much time. If you go with the cafe included, it is 1000 yen per person accompanied with a choice of a local sweet and tea/coffee.

Although it is a doll, it was a work that somehow soothed the nostalgic warm and gentle atmosphere of the past. The time I visited was small and I was able to enjoy it slowly. It feels like each doll is moving and talking to you. It was such a wonderful exhibition that it made me feel like I couldn't leave the puppet hall. In addition, the works of sashiko were also displayed, and there were many beautiful sashiko.
