Yorozuya Liquor Store

In various U.S. states and foreign countries I have had difficulty finding my favorite dry vermouth, Noilly Prat. There is not a bottle for sale in the entire state of Alaska, for example. Yorozuya stocks it at all times and the wife there agrees with me that "Noilly is best." Other beverages and accompanying snacks on offer are also first rate, and since the family lives upstairs you may even hear one of the youngsters practicing piano. Here's wishing the couple many more decades of successful business.

This shop is a little gem. I always ask for wine recommendation from the wife. She knows her wine and has good selections from the area and around the world, prices for all tastes and budgets. I haven't done better going directly to the local winerys. I trust the husband's taste in Sake.
