Shichirimihama Fureai Beach

It is a beach where you can enjoy a tropical atmosphere. Palm trees and cycads create a more tropical atmosphere. In front of you is Kumano Nada, the Pacific Ocean. When you look at the beach, which looks calm when viewed from a distance, but when you look at it up close, you will be reminded of the fear of the open sea by the rough and occasionally large waves. Of course swimming was prohibited. I think the parking lot was equipped with a toilet, a vending machine, and certainly a shower. Events are also held on the well-maintained beach and it is crowded with many people. There is also a roadside station "Park Shichiri Mihama" nearby, so you can buy souvenirs and shopping. Take Route 42 from Kumano City to Shingu City for about 20 minutes, and why not stop by for a break?

・ I like the location of the Pacific Ocean and the horizon in front of me. Phoenix creates a tropical atmosphere and feels the passage of time slowly. The wind blowing from the sea was comfortable.

On this day, the horizon was very beautiful and I felt the roundness of the earth. I was surprised that the sound of the stones on the beach was so intense! If you look around, the beach is not a sandy beach, but all are filled with large and small round stones. Well, I'm convinced that with this wave, the stones should have rounded corners. We always drive only in the mountains, but after a long time, I thought the sea was nice ♪.

The best! Last year, on April and May 11th (pictured) of '19, I took Route 42, which I don't usually go to, twice for the first time in 20 years from Tsu to Drive 🚗🍃 This Pacific Ocean with nothing like that ... It's a super attractive beach with a panoramic view! {I will go to Golden Week again this year, but it will be closed due to the corona virus} A unique straight road that stretches for about 25 km (1 ri ≒ 4 km) along the sea next to Shichirigahama and leads to the almost straight Shingu and Kushimoto in Wakayama. By the way, Kujukuri Beach in Chiba is about 55 km. It doesn't fit the calculation, but it means that it's big 😉】 There is a windbreak on the left and the sea is not always visible, but the Pacific Ocean where the Kuroshio current flows by chance is different from the beauty like the ria coast of Ise-Shima. And this sandy beach with beauty and magnificent scale as if nature was created under the occasional far-reaching plan! Also, the whole area around here is a good place, although there is no liveliness of each city and cityscape (in the sense of a market) along Route 23 from Ise to Nagoya in Mie Prefecture. It doesn't make you feel the passage of time so much ... It makes you aware of the feeling that you are living naturally now ... I'm not young anymore. I want to spend a while here ...
