Amazing experience! Kotaro-san did a private tour for me and three friends through Kyoto. We learned a tremendous amount about sake AND we were able to explore the Fushimi Sake District in autumn. The customization of the tour fit perfectly to what our group was looking for! Thank you so much! We can’t wait to show off our sake knowledge to our friends :)
My husband and I LOVED this tour. By far the highlight of our trip so far. Our guide was so knowledgeable about sake and the country in general. Could not recommend this tour enough for anyone visiting Kyoto.
My husband and I were thrilled with this tour. Kotaro was very knowledgeable about the sake industry and you could tell he was very passionate about his hometown. Kotaro really made the tour for us - He was friendly and answered any of the questions our group had.
We came out with a reasonable understanding of sake and thankfully, we now know what to look for to ensure we enjoy our occasional glass.

Highlight of our trip! Do the full tour of Geikekan and the tasting. Informative, fun and easy to understand. My wife and I really feel that we have been properly introduced to Japan’s Sake industry, culture and science! We can now go back to the US and decipher sake bottles and order properly.
This is such an educational experience. I walked away with extensive knowledge about sake and can experience this drink in different ways going forward. Highly recommend!
