Iwai Shokai

Yeah, very nice and clean shop. Friendly and helpful when asked for some empty bicycle boxes. Though we offered to pay for the boxes, the owner insist to give us for free. Thanks and good memory.

We cycled from Tokyo and arriving Kyoto after a week. Dropped by this bike shop near to our home stay to ask for 2 bike boxes to pack for our flight out. The owner was serving another local customer but he paused and asked what we are looking for in Japanese. We pointed to a few boxes which were stacked up by the side wall and use hand sign of aeroplane flying. That’s enough to deliver the message and he brought the boxes down and offered to us free of charge. Very nice and polite. We were worried not able to get bike boxes in Kyoto, but the first bike shop that we dropped by and job is done.

The clerk's response is good and I am very relieved to have a good response on the phone! ️
