A station at the entrance of Otesuji Shopping Street. It's hard to say that it's beautiful, but it's a very atmospheric station. There should be quite a few passengers getting on and off, but it's also nice that the limited express and express trains that stop at Chushojima Station (the Keihan Uji Line branches off) and Tamba Bridge (contact the Kintetsu Railway) on both sides pass. There is a shopping street in Rakunan Ichi nearby. Most of the daily errands are done here. The atmosphere is like a downtown shopping street, but living shopping streets are becoming rare, so it's a good idea to go sightseeing. There is also a shop unique to Sake Restaurant Fushimi. The branches of the three major mega banks, regional banks and credit unions are also within walking distance. There are many places to eat and drink. The ward office is also nearby. It's a very convenient station.

When you pass through the ticket gate and go out to the street, you will suddenly see the chaotic world of the arcade shopping street right after the railroad crossing. It is a station full of downtown atmosphere of Keihan Electric Railway. This station has railroad crossings at both ends, so you can't extend the platform any further. The length of 8 trains cannot be secured, and limited express trains and express trains will pass. If you walk to the next station, Tambabashi, there is a fun place where the JR Nara Line, Kintetsu, and Keihan are close to each other at intervals of about 100m. There are many famous sake breweries in Fushimi, Kyoto and historic sites at the end of the Edo period, but it is more convenient to take the Kintetsu Railway from Kyoto Station and get off at Momoyama Goryo-mae, which is right next to it.

The shopping street is in front of the station. There is also a bar and it's a good location. Kintetsu Momoyama Goryomae station is also next to the hotel, so it is convenient to access to the direction of Nara and Kyoto stations. Furthermore, it's between Tambabashi / Nakashojima and the limited express train station, and I think it's relatively convenient to change to the limited express.

There is a shopping street at this station. I went to Uji a few days ago and found it unintentionally. It’s worth visiting. I bought a lot of gifts to return to Taiwan.
