Ohata and Yatake may go when you go to Hitoyoshi. Hitoyoshi has several favorite restaurants that serve delicious food, and I'm looking forward to stopping by.
When coming from Isa, the national highway and the Hisatsu line are parallel on the navigation system. On the map, there is the Hisatsu Line behind Happiness Onsen, but in reality, navigation guidance is required, the road is narrow, and there are quite a few curves.
I learned from the newspaper that the heavy rain disaster in July of this year caused great damage to the river line and it was difficult to restart the mountain line due to operational management.
The old wooden station building remained. I happened to be alone, so I felt like I was left behind in this place (in a good way)
Old locomotives are also displayed in the exhibition room.
One of the few station buildings in Japan! Located in Yatake Pass, the only station in Kyushu to reach while switching back, I have visited with my father and mother as a child. A switchback is a railway track that is laid in a zigzag pattern when a train traveling to climb or descend a steep mountain slope from Mayuki Station turns. I want you to stay forever in the future because it is very interesting. The view from the scenic Yatake Kogen is the best!
The biggest obstacle on the Hisatsu line ❗ Crossing Yadake‼ ️ The scenery and the view are excellent 😀 The Hisatsu Line runs across Kumamoto Prefecture, Miyazaki Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefecture and three prefectures 🤔 The train window in the nature of the prefectural border is the best ❤️ Yadake Station At the entrance of Yadake Tunnel there is a stone monument of Tengen Wakaku 😒 This means that the difficult place in the world was made like a flat land, and the tunnel entrance on the other side has a stone monument of pulling weight and carrying heavy things far Meaning ❗ The former SL burned coal and heavy oil and crossed the pass ️D51 is back.
It's a very unexplored station! ️
