You can visit for free. Parking was also free. Many real machines used for making newspapers were exhibited, and a large one-ton machine was displayed as it was shifted or dropped due to the shaking of the Kumamoto earthquake. There was also a panel display of old newspaper articles, and I was able to visit quietly and slowly things that I missed and things I didn't know. I didn't put it on the photo post, but I sat with Kumamon sitting on the sofa and took a photo. This time, we held a photo exhibition of cats from Nekojima until August 31, R1, and we were able to see many pictures of cute cats.

There are surprisingly few newspaper museums nationwide. And this is Japan's first. The historical extras with high historical value are worth watching. No, I think it is a Japanese asset. In addition to writing true intentions from the central newspaper, advertising is also interesting. As expected, the old Kumamoto newspapers, where Western culture had advanced, are of high quality.

It is inside Kumamoto Nichibun Shimbun, and it will enter the parking lot of the newspaper first when guided by Google Map. It may be uneasy, but let's stop just because the place is right. Inside, old printing presses and materials are displayed in small spaces, and it is a very maniac and valuable place where real letters are also placed.

I asked about the cat exhibition. Since the time was last minute, only the cat exhibition was visited, and the permanent exhibition was not possible, so I would like to see if there is an opportunity.

In the past, I found that it took a lot of time and effort to make a newspaper. The letters scattered by the Kumamoto earthquake were left as they were, and I felt the magnitude of the damage. You can also experience Gutenberg letterpress printing.
