Celebration! Designated as a national treasure! In 2020, the grave goods excavated from here were designated as national treasures. It is now on display at the nearby Prefectural Historical Museum. It's great that it hasn't been robbed by anyone for 1500 years. The length is less than 100m, and the size is medium, but the moat and earthworks are almost existing, and the storage condition is good. There is a prefabricated management office on the other side of the road, but when I visited, the management came out from inside even though I didn't say anything, and he took the trouble to turn on the lamp in the stone room. I am impressed with the casual behavior. Thank you very much.

First of all, congratulations on the fact that the artifacts excavated from this Kannonyama Tomb have been designated as national treasures this year. Again, the one specified is the "excavated item". Please note that it is stored and exhibited at the Prefectural Historical Museum, which is a little far away, and it is meaningless unless you see it as a set. The tumulus itself is a medium-sized keyhole-shaped tumulus with a mound length of about 100 meters, which was built in the latter part of the Kofun period. To be honest, it has no features and is sober. (Laughs) It's not like the Ota Tenjinyama Tomb in the same Gunma Prefecture, which has a huge hill length of over 200 meters, but it's like the Hodota Hachimanzuka Tomb, which is entirely covered with Fukiishi and shines beautifully in white. not. Unlike the Kannonzuka Tumulus, a huge stone of over 50 tons is not used in the stone chamber. However, the gold and bronze harnesses and ornaments excavated from here are absolutely wonderful, and they are top-notch products with the ultimate in craftsmanship. The humanoid figurine that used to decorate the tumulus is also unique and expressive, and will entertain the viewer. Perhaps the chief who made this burial mound was a person who spends more money on underwear than on appearance. (Lol)

The feeling of suddenly appearing in a residential area that is nothing is very nice. I couldn't visit the stone chamber because of the corona. When you go up, the wind is a view, so please be careful about cold weather in cold weather. The parking lot is likely to hold 3 buses and 10 ordinary cars (free of charge). There is a toilet. When I went on Saturday morning, there was only one customer. I was surprised that it was not popular though it was reasonably powerful. After visiting the tumulus, be sure to see the haniwa excavated at the nearby Prefectural Historical Museum! It doesn't matter at all, but there were a lot of crayfish in the gutter near the stone monument seen from the edge of the burial mound.

通称「三人童女」などの国宝指定された出土品はすぐ近くの群馬県立歴史博物館で常設展示されている。 すぐに古墳に登るより、ぐるっと周って前方部、後円部を確認するのがお勧め。
