What a hidden gem in Takatsu-ku! This cafe/bakery tucked away in a residential block is utterly charming. The food is crafted with dignity and attention to detail, nothing is wasted or overstated, and everything is delicious. Come here for real, hard, heavy sourdough and stay for the beautiful seasonal sandwiches and treats.

I had lunch on Saturday. My friend was a beef stew lunch set, and I had a custom made tuna and egg sandwich made from rye bread. Rye bread is sticky and delicious. I bought some kinds of meal bread at takeout and came back. Especially, low-sugar bread made from ancient wheat, which was sold by weighing, was very delicious. I want to stop by again if I come near.

Lunch was abandoned because it was crowded. I will make a reservation next time. Biscotti was delicious with plenty of almonds.
