Staff is super friendly and competent in English. The museum is wonderfully organized and displayed, and you can tell that the owner really has a passion for dolls and history. Their collection is fantastic. Definitely take the chance to walk through with one of the guides, they have fascinating info to share. Loved my visit!
The staff is nice and friendly, they have guided tours where you get to see fantastic collection of beautiful Japanese dolls and a good overview of the history. Fell in love with with a huge amazing collection of Matryoshka, especially 30 fairytales ones!
Definitely go to this!
P.S. we visited right after the emergency status was lifted, so no tourists at all (we are living in Tokyo). We had a Japanese guided tour, but they also have English tours during the normal operation time.
It is 500 yen for a guided tour and is very worth it! Fantastic collection of beautiful Japanese dolls and a good overview of the history. Definitely go to this
Great experience from the very first moment with the team. Very dedicated staff who took time to explain in English throughout the tour.
I randomly came across this lovely little museum. The guide and hosts were very friendly, knowledgeable and good English. I met the owner and he shared with me his passion and vision. A great stop and very new.
