You can find a collection of butterfly here. They also have a greenhouse which allows you to experience a breeze from tropical garden.

WOW!!! Would that I had traveled to the Ishikawa prefecture when I was a kid! We've been going to the Ishikawa Insect Museum since our older girl was just very small--maybe 3 or 4 (she's now 11), and we never tire of it. Today there was a butterfly (cho-cho-san) lecture--show-and-tell--that was just excellent. We all love this place!

There are many insect collections. An interesting place for kids to learn about nature. There is also a big garden with a lot of butterflies

There is plenty to see here and there's even an area for kids to interact with various insects. It's also easy to visit here as someone with limited Japanese language proficiency.
