The former home of former Nakajima Airplane founder, Fuji Heavy Industries, now founder of Subaru Chikuhei Nakajima. In fact, it may have played a larger role as a guesthouse of a company than a private residence. It is said that an airplane ✈️ that took off from the Tonegawa riverbed was once seen in the garden of Nakajima House.
Since I was born and raised here, I miss memories of seeing wrestling at Rikidozan, where villagers gathered on a black-and-white TV in a village in the old residence of Chikyudaira Nakajima. This is a new mansion, a vast mansion, so the children of the village always gathered and played around.
I would like many people to visit and know the great Chikuhei Nakajima.
You will surely be moved by this mansion.
The site area is vast. Also, I think it's wonderful that the mansion is surrounded by big trees, but isn't it maintained? . (I think it's open as it is?)
There is a toilet in the parking lot, but it is locked and cannot be used except during opening hours.
It is a wonderful house that I visited in the past, but the progress of SUBARU, the founder of Nakajima Airplane, built for 7 years for my parents. Early curtains of the Showa era, carpets that have made 10 million fires, marbles, and cars, now managed by the city for free. Please come!

A part of the building (car stop) is open to the public as a regional exchange center. Free tour.
