Amazing spot Recommended to wear a bathing suit But many don’t. There’s a main section, which usually has people And if you want less people and a more open space (with slightly lukewarm water) there’s a spot down the river near the stairs

A natural Hot Springs River that is amazing and so worth the wind you drive out there. Just be aware that some men decide not to wear swimsuit so you may see some things that you weren't expecting😅

Very nice free onsen. There are pools of different temperature and on the most upper level you can swim in the refreshing plain river water. A must visit spot if you have a chance.

My favorite rotenburo in Japan! It is free and you can even swim in the river as it is usually warm in June and July. If there is heavy rainfall, the river may be cooler.
