Great House. I feel it was much better than Wada house since it has less tourists and they offer tea included with the entrance fee. Much better experience and decided to just see Wada house from the outside. Got lucky to stumble upon this one before Wada. Also have a wooden stove going inside the house where they boil the tea.
I loved it! It smelled smoky because they really use wood to boiled tea and to warm the whole room. To second till fourth floor, I managed to see a lot of sewing and working tools. Also the interior of Gassho style house. They provide hot wild grass tea for us to drink, feels like visiting grandma’s house. Entrance fee:¥300.
Nice place to see how houses were built and how people live in this precious Japanese village in the mountains 🗻⛰🗻
A great place to visit in a season when it is not crowded. Good legs can prove helpful to get to the upper floors inside the roof. Extremely interesting.
Beautiful house!!! Shows you how people use to live and the tools they had!... entrance is 300¥ and you can also use the bathroom here!
