For me if you've seen one shrine you've seen them all unless they have some crazy garden that stretches over a large area.

This is the first time I have visited to live in a neighboring town. All the visitors enjoyed a relaxing time. I think I enjoyed autumn because it was a beautiful time of autumn leaves. I think it's okay if it's a little wider, but it was just the size of the site for a leisurely stroll. I thought the main shrine was smaller than I had imagined, but it had a unique calm atmosphere that made me feel relaxed and full of heart. It was a sledgehammer that a friendly cat was there and healed.

I like to see shrines and temples, but there are amazing auras, such as the accumulation of folk grass feelings I felt at Suwa Shrine in Kyoto, Nara, Chusonji, and Nagano.

It is a shrine with Kenshin Uesugi on the ruins of Yonezawa Castle as a deity. The building was built at the beginning of the Meiji era, and the current shrine building will be rebuilt in the Taisho era. Although it is one of the most magnificent shrines enshrining the feudal lords in Japan, it is too straightforward and uninteresting. Thanks to the taiga drama, the area around the precincts has become a tourist destination. This is in contrast to the Uesugi family mausoleum, which maintains a solemn atmosphere. Although there are no national treasures, it should have a good number of national important cultural properties, but it seems that some of them are exhibited at the treasure hall. To be honest, I wasn't really impressed, but it's a tourist attraction for everyone that can't be missed in Yonezawa sightseeing. Although I'm stingy for some reason, I can't go through here. Also, it doesn't matter, but the guardian dog looks like Heisei Mechagodzilla.

2020.10.21 ☀️ I visited Uesugi Shrine in Yonezawa Castle Ruins. From Echigo to Aizu and Yonezawa. Kenshin Uesugi, Scenic, Takayama, Uesugi vassals. I visited Yonezawa here to study. The approach to the shrine and its surroundings were well maintained, and I was able to take a leisurely stroll while worshiping. Digression It has been more than ten years since the Suzume Dance of the Sendai Aoba Festival was revived. It has grown grand year by year, and now it is a festival lined up in Sendai Tanabata. The crest of the Date family in Sendai, known for its sparrow dance, is "bamboo and sparrow," and the crest of the Uesugi family is also "bamboo and sparrow." I didn't know the reason until I came here in Yonezawa. Bamboo is used with two sparrows, but the Uesugi family's ring bamboo is arranged into root bamboo, which is truly the Date family.
