Cheap, beautiful and relatively unknown place to visit. Unlike the overrated Seizanso in Hitachiota, this place has been well preserved. The main and secondary building are spacious, it will take you around one hour to visit the whole facility, including the garden.
The entrance is 300 yens, which is more than reasonable considering the amount of maintenance required. It has been used as a set for numerous Japanese movies and dramas.
Very Beautiful house! I had so much fun going inside the house! I plan to go there in Golden Week! See you soon!😀
The building is amazing!
The building is especially amazing in the Taisho era!
I wonder what. It's easy to see that modern homes are really bad. Sure, the performance will be good, but it will be difficult to have such a beautiful and functional beauty. A typical house with a summer atmosphere. The simple rice paddy-making house is also good!
Every building is really wonderful, so it's worth seeing. Let's go on a sunny day this time. .. ..
Old farms and old mansions of Daishoya are open to the public in various parts of Japan, but this "Sakanoya House" is an important cultural property designated by the country (that is, on the verge of a national treasure), so in terms of its scale and goodness, I think it's pretty high.
Due to recent preservation and maintenance projects, gardens and other areas have been restored, and the appearance around the Meiji era has been restored. For that reason, it seems that it is often used for shooting historical dramas on TV and movies, as the parking lot has a corner for "location cars". In the mansion, posters and stills of works used here are also displayed. Recently, one of the mobile phone's "Santaro" series is also taken here.
Although it is located in a land that is not easily accessible, by the time you get off the hill from the parking lot, pass by the bamboo grove, and walk to the front gate of the mansion surrounded by a long fence, you will be completely in the historical drama. Immerse yourself in the mood. Of course, if you are interested in old folk houses, you can enjoy an hour at the main house or the Shoin "Gepparou".
Admission is 300 yen. It's a great deal. I recommend it.
If you're a historical drama fan, you'll be screaming "Uo! I've seen this many times!" on the uphill in front of the entrance and at the front gate. It's the first time I've been there, but I don't feel like that at all. (Lol)
Was it the Onihira criminal record book? In the setting of a luxury restaurant in Edo at night, there is a scene in which a high-class samurai climbs up a dark slope to have a chat with an evil merchant and disappears into the front gate. It was impressive.
The main building also shows the style of the Sakano family, and the entrance with a nice gable is wonderful.
Originally, the entrance was for exclusive use of high-class samurai, and the common people could not use it, but now I can come and go as much as I want. Everyone, please enjoy the VIP mood. (Lol)
Also, don't miss the beautifully landscaped bamboo forest next to the Sakano family. If you are a historical drama fan, you should be familiar with this. It is often used in a scene where "the protagonist in a hurry to ambush ambush in a bamboo forest where thugs cannot see it". Well, in most cases, the assassin side will be destroyed when the main character returns.
I don't know how many hundreds of thugs were killed here, but (laughs) I mourned them and left.
