I stopped by on the way back from Yamamoto Fudoson. I went there because the autumn leaves were in full bloom, but bright red autumn leaves were spreading around the perimeter. It matched the rainbow created by the fountain in the moat and was very beautiful. There is also a small park where the children are playing well and it makes me feel very peaceful and calm.
Nagashige Niwa, who was transferred to Tanagura from Kowatari, Hitachi Province in 1622, was ordered to build a castle by the Shogunate, and in 1624, Kondo Myojin (Tsutsukowake Shrine) was set up in Baba. The palace was relocated, and the next two years, we started the construction of Tanagura Castle on the site. After that, in 240 years until the castle fell in the Boshin War in 1868, there was a change of castle owner in the 8 families and 16 generations, and it was decided that the big turtle living in the moat would float on the surface of the water, and the lord was transferred. Therefore, it is also called "Kamega Castle". On the earthworks, there are a plate monument from the Northern and Southern Dynasties, a Tanagura castle scale monument, a monument to the end of Marshal Hata Shunroku, and a stone wall remains on the western outer moat site for about 160 m. You can park in the vast space inside the castle ruins and there is a toilet on the south side.
It has a quiet appearance and seems to be a place of relaxation for the locals. There are no castles or museums.
It seems that the lord who ruled Coco was a daimyo who was treated as a slightly relegated poi.
The end is Oshu Tanagura 🏯
建築物こそ残っていないが、堀と土塁がほぼそのままの形で残っている。かつては都都古別神社が鎮座していた場所で、大欅が名残を残す。
This is the first time I went. The autumn leaves were beautiful 🌠 I think it's a good place to take a walk ✨ The nursery school children were having a good walk 👦👧😊
