It is a temple of the Nichiren sect whose mountain name is Kotokuyama and its institute name is Zuikoin. It was built in 1707 by the 5th feudal lord of Tanagura, Shigeharu Ota, and was the residence of Shiharu at the time. The south gate of Tanagura Castle was donated and relocated as it is. This south gate was built by Nagashige Niwa, the first lord of the Shirakawa domain in 1627, and is the only existing Tanagura castle that is extremely valuable. There is a large parking lot.
