Wonderful service! A pleasant surprise for the well-assorted Japanese meals. Extended our stay to fully enjoy the service.

Though not the highest grade at the area, the service is personalized and thoughtful. Meals are excellent 👍👍👍. Hot spring bath (in/outdoor alike) on top of the building which gives you a good view over the town and the starry sky at night. But I realized the other day that the glass balustrade is not one way glass 😳. There is sight seeing shuttle bus departing from the building at 9am everyday at 1000yen per pax. Advance booking a day before is required. Service required a min. of 4pax but you can ask if they would accept you to pay the minimum charge, I.e. 4000yen to provide the service. It goes to the temples in the area with 15-20mins visit time at each stop. Roughly last for 3 hours. You can drop off back at the ryokan or at Shimonogo train stop.

The room was new and clean. The food is rice ◎ For dinner, there are a lot of beef, sashimi, ceramic plates, hot pots, etc., and they served like kaiseki, and the room was divided up to the fusuma, so I could relax like a private room. Breakfast goes well with rice, so I had a lot. The bath is a small dressing room, but it's almost reserved on weekdays, so I don't mind. I was able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in the bath while watching the night view, and it was very healing. The area is quiet, so I was able to spend a different time than usual. I'm glad I remembered it now. I have no complaints, so it has 5 stars.

I used the private bath for a fee and there was no guidance, and when I pointed out that, I was clearly in a bad mood, "I didn't tell you the amount, did you guide me? I don't need a fee this time, but I can charter anywhere. There is a charge for the bath, so please be careful. " He was a different person even though he was very kind at check-in. I'm a man. It's a shame because the inn and the landlady were good. I came back with a bad feeling at the end. I will never go again.

It seems that the itamae has changed, and I thought that the taste of the ingredients was preserved. The apéritif ginseng liquor is delicious. It is a personal impression. The view of the observation bath is good.
