Mikisato Station

If it had opened earlier, it might have been running in a different place. You have to walk a little from the station to the seaside. There is a private house on the side of the removed platform, but you have to be prepared for a considerable detour to the station. Vehicles belonging to Kameyama and Ise played an active part during the time of the Japanese National Railways, and after the conversion to JR, vehicles in Ise Ward supported regional transportation on the east side of the Kii Peninsula.

In the old days, only the express Kishu night train from Nagoya stopped. Currently, only ordinary (stop at each station) stops. During the JNR era, station staff were permanently stationed. However, it became an unmanned station due to the rationalization of the JNR. IC cards such as ICOCA cannot be used at Mikisato Station.

It is on a hill if you look at it from the village. It is a nostalgic unmanned station.
