Atmosphere is impeccable, but the service could have been better. We entered in a group of nine, right behind two other guests, but instead of giving the two guests seats at the counter they took them to the big table and asked our group to split up in two as there were no other big tables left. Not a good first impression. Anyhow, my recommendation for visitors would be the warabimochi and matcha green tea set.

Coffee is delicious. I climbed up stairs to the tatami sitting areas. Very nice and cozy place. No English menu but the staff can speak English fluently.

Very warm and cozy traditional interior cafe. It is a very good resting spot after walking rounds and rounds along the street. The matcha 🍵 is not much. It seems like it can be finished by one mouthful. But we try to sip bit by bit. The matcha taste is strong and slightly bitter but it taste perfect after the cookies that they provide.

Offers tatami mat seating upstairs with a view of the street which is quite nice. Quiet place to seat and relax.
