Credit card was only used here during the whole duration of my trip and a few weeks later, there were fraudulent transactions made through the same credit card on a Japanese web site. Was served by a rude young chap when picking up the car and he seemed totally frustrated when explaining the rental terms and conditions to me. Seems like you have to make a police report for anything that happened to the car, otherwise it will not be covered by any of the additional coverage even though you have paid for them. Yes, this includes calling the police for scratches and dents to the car according to this guy. Car was fine but the picking up experience was totally different from the world-renowned Japanese service standards I encountered during the rest of my trip. I would not recommend renting from them if you have a choice.

Not extremely bad as the past comments. It is the closest car rental shop from the main station. But the car really need to perform basic cleaning before next rental. Tokyo car is nice and convenient if need to travel around the five lakes. Find the phone number from the google map, input phone number in gps : 0555xxxxxx

Very baddddd services. Do not rent a car here if you don't have an experience renting a car or driving in Japan because they don't provide any any information or suggestion. Go for other car rental nearby, they are much better.

Worst car rental service our family has experienced in a long while in Japan. Unfriendly and had a bad attitude towards customers.

I have never encountered such an abominable service in Japan. The man who works there is very impatient. I don’t know why he treated people with that rude attitude. If someone wants to rent a car in Kawaguchiko, I will definitely not recommend here.
