Aoyama-sensei's hometown! Such a cute spot! I was expecting to visit just the museum, but there's a full street with Conan statues and other cute Conan-related things and buildings leading the way to the newly dubbed "Conan Station". A must for any Conan fan.

I and my family know Tottori for two things: the Sand dunes and the city of detective Conan. I think Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory is a worth place to visit. It's located around 1.4 km from Yura station a.k.a. Conan Station, but you might not feel it because along the way you'll find lots of ornaments about Conan.

Interesting find at a far-flung place. For fans of Detective Conan, this will be a pilgrimage destination. Its author works out of the small town, and this happens to be along the less-travelled western coast of Japan. Has a number of his early and production works on display, as well as a shop featuring related products such as anime and collectibles. Be prepared for a long journey.

Not a Manga fan but it is interesting to visit the museum. There are interactive exhibits which you can find in the manga e.g voice changing bow tie, skateboard etc. Most exhibits come in English, Chinese and Korean language, in addition to the Japanese language. Be sure to take part in the quiz. You get a nice card if you get all correct. The walk to the museum may seem long but there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way to keep you entertained.

I am not a big fan of Conan (I watch the animes a lot though!), yet the great story of the writer Gosho Aoyama brought me here. And I simply love this place since I first saw the well-designed Yura a.k.a. Conan station! One would suddenly feel very young again! This manga factory is located just 20 minutes walk from the station. You would love to walk since there are many spots to take pictures with, which you surey will miss if you drive a car or go by taxi! There was a quiz session conducted at the factory and I had won myself a GAMF card, which was nice! And you should check out their souvenir stores, I am amazed they have wooden postcards I just couldn't resist buying! And yes, they sell stamps too!
