It’s 300 yen to enter this little museum and it is a great pit stop to get away from all the large crowds in the area. The biggest draw to this museum is the upper deck that is great to take pictures of the lake with Mount Fuji in the background. On clouds days, the view may not be worth the entrance fee.

Although it costs 300 yen to enter, it is the most calm place in Oshino Hakkai with many people. The old house, which is a museum, is well maintained, and you can walk all the way through the old house, and you can climb up to the attic by climbing up to the second floor where silkworms were raised, or even a steep ladder staircase. Interesting. There is a big crucian carp that can't be found anywhere else in the large carp pond outside, and it is fed and approaches people.
