Domestic sakaki sold at other stores is (only for raising Chinese sakaki in Japan) It is not a true product of Japan and will die soon. The sakaki in this store is a little expensive, but it's made in Japan, and it's tough and respectable for about half a year. The shopkeeper is unique and very strict about work, and I stopped going (^_^;) a little, but the product is really wonderful.
