Dutasan

I went hiking on Sunday, October 11th, 2020. There is nothing special, but because it is a mountain that I want to visit someday, I went 6/1k round trip 12k from the Daetjae parking lot in Samcheok to the top of Dootasan. There was pretty autumn leaves near the summit. Look at a few photos

It is said that Dootasan is named after the shape of the mountain where the Buddha lies. Located on the mountain line connecting Baekdu-daegan, Dutasan is famous for the Mureung Valley with numerous spectacular waterfalls. The valley is abundant and beautiful in quantity, but if you are not a citizen of East Sea, you have to pay an admission fee. However, if you go up to the direction of Mount Sinum, you can avoid collecting admission fees. It is a good place to come by bus 111 from Donghae Station, Terminal, or Mukho Station, but it is recommended to come early in the morning because the mountains are quite large. There are many large Geumgang pine trees, and you can enjoy beautiful valley hiking. From the summit, you can see Gariwangsan or Taebaeksan.
