It is the military office of Bang Dap-jin, who was in charge of coastal defense during the Joseon Dynasty. Bangdapjin belonged to Jeollado Sugunjeoldoyeong and was established in 1522. As it was the path where the Japanese enemy came in, a stone castle was built with Cheomsa in charge.
