Bongsigi Traditional Jumbo Dumplings

Cheap (4.5k won for five biiiig dumplings), fast (they're sitting waiting in the steamers ready to box up) and yummy. What more do you want? I tried all three because I'm greedy and I had no idea how big the servings were. The kimchi dumplings were spicy and didn't have any weird aftertaste, and the pork and chive/herb thing ones were lovely and meaty and went well with a little splosh of the sweet vinegary soy they give you. The sweet soybean paste ones are HUGE and not overly sweet, so fluffy and delicious. The fillings are not skimpy, one box is definitely enough for one person. You are given chopsticks, soy, and little packets of what I thought was mango, but turned out to be that yellow pickled radish thing. Not my favourite thing to eat, but you get them anyway. It's a takeaway, and served in polystyrene containers, so good for staying hot for the walk home, but not great for the environment. I'd go back of I wasn't still eating the ones I bought ...three days later 😁. They're filling.
