D.H. Myeongdong Guesthouse

DO NOT BOOK!! The rooms are very dirty! Expect blankets with blood remains, mould everywhere and cockroaches in your room! The bathroom smells like a sewage plant and the manager doesn’t really care about the conditions of the guesthouse! For the first 2 nights we had to book another hotel due to the unacceptable conditions in our first room without getting a refund. For the other 4 nights we received another room with a bit less mould but still in a very bad condition! The whole guesthouse appears very neglected, dirty and old and would really need a full refurbishment! The surroundings of the guest house also look like a waste yard. Not a place where you want to stay for your vacations in Seoul!

Small room and it was not cleaned up when we checked in. U couldn’t get any water from dispenser and only a loaf of bread for breakfast for the whole building! When u asked the staff, they said it’s coming but when u went back at night, another person told u the same thing.

If you are in the search of getting a decent bathroom during your stay, i highly recommend to skip this one.

One of the staff,a guy ( i think the houskeeping)He always wearing a cap .He's attitude very rude.He made the guesthouse like his house.During lunch we having ramyeon at the kitchen and few minutes later he came and prepare his lunch too but his attitude really unacceptable.He did'nt say a single word to us but showing he is mad ,throwing , crashed stuff,and i really dont know why he behave that way.If he really dont like or dont want people came at the kitchen dont allow the guest to use the kitchen simple as that.From the website say itself the guesthouse facility are for all guest which is the kitchen too.
