Korean Ginseng Museum

Very good. Learnt about Ginseng for the first time. The hospitality of the team is out of this world. Apparently, Korea is known for the best Ginseng in the world. I bought some ginseng candy as gift. scenic

Tours come here as a part of their routine and it's really annoying how they 'force' customers into buying through shaming, manipulation etc. If tourists do not buy enough products, tour guides are reprimanded and given a bad score, which incentivises them to pressure you into buying the product too. Apart from the enclosed and well developed atmosphere, it feels nothing short of street stalls in China where store owners pull you back whenever you try to leave. This review will be more likely than not useless for most people at this point, but I just felt the need to rant.

Go here only if you are interested to know more about ginseng. I went here as part of our tour package. After the visit and after listening to information about ginseng, I never look at ginseng the same way again. They will sell their products also which they claim to be different from the ginseng outside of their store. Very expensive but if their claims are real, it should be worth the money. Did I buy? Yes for 2 months worth - haven't tried the product yet.

Authentic korean ginseng with the best quality. Bought a few different kinds of ginseng that they made into capsules as a health supplement. Health is wealth. And most importantly is get the authentic ones although its more expensive. Good products come with a price.

Snake oil forced onto us in a guided tour. After a small 10 minute walk through the museum, they showed us into a room and shut the doors as if we were hostages. Apparently it's "illegal" to not go to 6+ places spruiking alternative medicines for everything from a sore stomach to telepathy and the ability to slow time. I'm on to some liver cleansing nonsense next.
