The Jinan Museum of History is a space for exhibiting the disappearance of life in the submerged areas due to the construction of the Yongdam Multi-purpose Dam, and collecting, storing, exhibiting, and studying data on the history and culture of the area. The second floor has an archaeological hall, a folk building and a seminar room on the first floor, and a planning exhibition hall and curriculum library on the second floor. The archaeological museum displays prehistoric and ancient artifacts unearthed in the Yongdam Dam flooded area. The relics from the prehistoric age to the Joseon dynasty show the history and life of Jinan. In the Folk Museum, you can see the beautiful natural environment such as the Mt. Maisan and Seoktap-gun, which are famous for Jinan, and the rich traditional cultural resources such as dark wind, Geumcheokmu, and falconry. The Archives gathers various records related to Jinan, including ancient maps, ancient documents, and Seowon Hyanggyo relics and materials.

I think it will be helpful to see the local culture since it contains the historical culture of Jing'an area. It is a small museum. Round-trip, puzzle-matching and badge making are free.

It was more special because I heard that it is a museum with a meaningful history where the remains and lifestyles left at the request of the submerged people.
