모락산 국기봉이 정상입니다. 의왕시를 끼고 있으며, 6.25 전쟁때에는 수도권 방어 지역으로서 역할을 하였다고 합니다. 안양 평촌, 호계동, 의왕 내손동, 성라자로마을 과 인접해 있습니다.
