Beautiful small railway station right on the east coast of South Korea. Mugunghwa trains pass this place occasionally, and some of them would stop. A tiny town surrounds this station, and some food stands near it. Walking on the beach and watching the train pass away would give you a great peace inside.
An excellent KORAIL train station, in the beautiful little resort town of Jeongdongjin. The nearest train station to the sea anywhere in the world. The nearby beach is beautiful, with a prominent rocky outcropping that makes a dramatic backdrop for photos. Also nearby is a steep hill with a trail and stairway to the top, with a pavilion to rest in when you get there.
Train station to board rail bike and also many Koreans enjoy first sunrise of the year from beach next to Jeongdongjin station
