Korea Furniture Museum

Pretty disappointed... comparing to its price... you can visit much better places in Korea. Due to covid I had to take the tour with Koreans (mostly elderly....). Noisy (phone ringing) not waiting in line. Inside? Not much... you can easily find all of that at the folk museum. No photos inside..no book or paper on that museum. Too small. But indeed beautiful. Looks like a house from Joseon. Of course for rich people.

No photos allowed 😞. There were many things I would like to remember and ideas I'd like to share with friends but can't. The traditional house was the highlight for us. There is no sidewalk from the nearest bus stop, so not very accessible via public transit - but doable if you are adventurous. Would be 5 star if photos were allowed.

Neat place and furniture that is well preserved. Pleasant tour guides also. Loved it.

Beautiful reconstruction of traditional house, full of traditional furniture with knowledgable and enthusiastic tour guide. A highlight if our Seoul trip. Warning: you need to book a reservation on their site, and it was hard to confirm.

A real gem. A must-go in Seoul. Everything is carefully designed from the Hanok itself to the furniture exhibitions. The view of Seoul from the traditional garden is stunning. It's "furniture museum" but furniture is really a part of the whole experience. Taking a cab from nearby is the easiest to get there and one can reserve English tour through their website.
