I've had 2 very different experiences. First one: They were on-the-ball for an urgent situation and monitored vitals and rushed my family member to the appropriate tests/scans. Great. SECOND ONE: Horrible.. After being admitted, they spent 45 minutes trying to find a vein to start an IV,/med drip for a bad migraine, and nobody could (not even doctor, although she was kind and tried her best to be gentle). This never happened in a Korean hospital. So, instead of giving me a med drip through the vein, they administered an intramuscular injection. Ok, sure I can live with that. BUT, they used an off-label/highly atypical medicine (an *antipsychotic*) to treat the migraine. I've been treated for migraines in other hospitals about 20 times but never received anything other than the standard migraine cocktail (pain reliever + antihistamine/anti-emetic). The medication they gave me was HORRIBLE!! 10 minutes post-injection, I experienced severe sweating, akathisia, extreme anxiety/dread, and what felt like low voltage shocks throughout my body. While I was in panic in the ER, the doctor told me, "oh, that is a very rare side effect.... But it will go away in 2-3 hours." It lasted a solid 24-36 hours. I would not have wished that on my worst enemy. Please, if there is no valid reason to do so, do not administer third-tier, off-label, powerful medications with potentially horrendous side-effects for standard medical issues like migraines!

Everyone was friendly. Our case was handled efficiently. I was informed of the process every step. Everything was spotless and the doctors and nurses handled our case with courtesy and professionalism.

There was only one person in the waiting room when I arrived to the ER at 3:15pm. I waited 4.5 hours before coming impatient. So I then approach the desk to ask the KN where I was in line and when will I get seen... he goes to ask someone in the back then this lady comes up to inform me on how the ER works. I understand that people will have more severe injuries than others, but at what time will they look at how long a patient has been waiting. The service there is is unacceptable! They need to work on keeping patients updated and continuously check on patients during the multiple hours of waiting.

I have called the appointment line for the last 4 days and left 3 messages after being told no space available. The phone is automated and i got nothing but there's no agent to take my call for the extended hours clinic and provides the old building number 555. Haven't received any calls back from leaving messages. I served 27 years in the US military and as a retiree and now a MEE residing on post still can't be seen! So if you're starting to get ready to retire get ready to be treated like a 4th class citizen!

There was a bit of a (long) wait, as it seems like they're still getting the kinks ironed out, but the care I received in the ER was first class. They made sure I was comfortable, and the care and service of the staff, doctors and nurses assured me that I was in good hands. Felt almost identical to a hospital in the US. This facility makes me proud to be an American!
