Hello D Fischer, I was a SGT (Army) and spent 10 months in Camp Page, Chuncheaon City , South Korea, before my ETS (2002-2003) I was S2 NCOIC, 1-2 AVN BN. I had the privilege to go into the city and see if it was safe for our service members. I 100% agree, that town is a hidden gem. The food was so good. That KATUSA snack bar was awesome. The people were so nice.

I was a Staff Sergeant that spent 1 year (2001-2002) here at Camp Page, South Korea, as a USAF Weather Forecaster. Out of all the U.S. Army personnel on post I was 1 of 4 USAF personnel living and working here. This post was one of the hidden gems of being stationed in Korea. I often found myself eating lunch or dinner at the KATUSA Snack Bar that served great bulgogi and rice. The local city of Chuncheon was considered a resort location and was the envy of many USAF Weather visitors. I had a great time there working with the Army supporting the Apache Longbows and the UH-60 MEDEVACs.
