Sorok Island Central Park

The last colony of lepres (Hansen disease) was confined here during the colonial period. A sad lesson of history where human rights were non existent. Still an interesting place to visit (not recommended for kids though).

It was a place of exile for people suffering from Hansen's disease, which was once desperate, but now it is a beautiful place to be an icon of hope~ If time permits, it's a pity that I couldn't take a closer look.
