This was one of the locals who came in and eat. Luckily the waitress speak a little English and with photos posted by other reviewers made my order easier. The fish/ squid batter is a bit bland but their sauce makes it tastier. Overall not too bad. Going out from Geumnyeonsan subway exit 5 and keep straight ahead and “Turn Left before Starbucks.

Not a typical Bunsikjip in Korea. The sauce in the tteokbbokki is a little sweetand the rice cake is thick and chewy. The squid fries are thick and also chewy, so it is fun to mix these two flavors together. However, pricewise i think they increased it a lot within this past years. The service and interior is bad compared to the fame of the restaurant, but it is worth a try as they sell particular type of national Korean dish.

Not the best teokboki I had but it's not bad either.

Just what I needed. The set menu is for 2 people ... but I think that some people could eat 1 set by themselves.
