The exit 9 of underground shopping street is just in front of hotel or opposite exit 1 of Bujeon metro station. The Bujeon market like Ginseng market Street is just beside the hotel. Although the surrounding is not too crowded but you can take around 12 mins walk to Seomyeon Lotte department store via the underground shopping street, especially during winter where you can avoid the cold weather outside the street. It takes you 20 mins via train to the famous tourist spot Gamcheon cultural Village.

One person can make a difference! I was going to give this hotel just 2 Stars, before one of the young concierge team (see pic) came through and steered me straight to a nearby foreign friendly bank. It is just across the main intersection and I have uploaded a pic in case you stay here and want to find it. Every other attempt to get a credit card advance from an ATM across the whole city for days had failed. The NK bank right opposite the hotel, that I went to change money, didn’t do MasterCard cash advances either. It took an hour to finally establish that 🤦‍♂️. To be honest, this hotel isn’t in a great location, it is quite a way from anywhere really, except the central food market next door (definitely worth a visit), but it does have a subway station right outside (Bujeon). One stop to Seomyeon does open up lots of dining, drinking and shopping options though. There are few hotel facilities for Guests, unlike it’s sister Ibis Ambassador at Haeundae Beach, that I just came from and happily recommend. It has a lovely new gym, steam rooms and a 40 degree hot pool overlooking the beach! No pool at all here though and the young male on reception almost added ‘of course’ when I asked and he told me that; like I should have known not to expect one? The Ibis at Siem Reap in Cambodia, that I stayed at two weeks ago had a beautiful pool, on the roof and perfect for doing laps. No gym either here he told me when I asked, that is now being privately operated by an outside company, so if you want to use it, you have to pay them. I thought I was already paying? Anyway, the most infuriating thing for me was the internet, having to continually log in every time you changed floors or left and returned to the hotel or even put your phone down for five minutes. No excuse for that in this day and age. The rooms are small and pokey but are clean and have all the basics and the bathroom amenities are decent. The housekeeping team do a good job. The air conditioning works well and the beds are comfortable. The shower maintains a constant temperature (not to be taken for granted nowadays). One weird thing though, some bright spark decided to put all the toothbrushes on display at reception for guests to take if they need one - but asking for a donation. I just found that frankly - a little strange. No view to speak of from my room, but I was very grateful for an upgrade from the standard room I booked. Heaven knows what that would have been like. The room also had an Apple and Android duel charger supplied, that I thought was inovative and considerate. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring, not great western breakfast choices. Most annoying an abysmal representation of fresh fruit, despite the fact a huge selection of wonderful produce is less than 20m from the hotel entrance. Healthy alternatives are few, though chips for breakfast did make the menu! The F&B Manager needs to take a walk. No active ‘egg station’ just choice of preprepared luke warm ‘over easy’ or scrambled (see several pics). Young Alice in the restaurant who’s primary job is clearing is a standout performer, courteous and warm natured with decent English. Her colleague, who’s primary job is welcoming guests and checking them off against the room list, rarely smiles and must have been sick the day they taught ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ - in any language. My suggestion; role swap the two for a month. Guaranteed Alice will shine even brighter and her colleague will improve. I’m sure this hotel may suit business clientele who just use it as a drop in base and it really isn’t a bad hotel by any stretch, its an older property and I think perhaps I’ve just been spoilt having stayed at too many really good ones recently, so my expectations may perhaps have been set a little too high.

One of the best Hotel in Busan! It is located near Bujeon Market and Bujeon Subway Station (5 minute walk). It a litlle bit far and require some walking to reach Seomyeon comppex that actually interesting, but plus point the entrance/exit to Seomyeon Underground Commercial Complex is just in front of this Hotel (gate 9). It also has direct access to nearby building that has GS Mini Market for small shopping, and starburcks for coffee. Room is just right, not too small. Decent facilities and decent amenities. The lobby and Taste Resto is located on the top 17th floor. So you will have breakfast/lunch/dinner with stunning view of Busan. Staffs are friendly enough, but you will need to greet them first sometime for help. All in all, recommended if you are staying in Busan and rely on Subway for travel. If the weather is clear take Bujeon Station, if it is raining use Seomyeon Station.

Rooms are always clean. Very friendly staff here. Swift check in and check out. If I could ask, not more variety to the breakfast menu. When I come to Busan this is where I stay.
