The Catholic Pusan ​​nave was independent in 1889 in Kyungsangbuk-do (Daegu), and in 1890 the French priest, Moyse jozeau, was appointed first priest. Cho was appointed as the residence at the site of the Youngdong Cheonghak Cathedral, and the main hall was moved to 15th place in Daejeong - dong 2 (near the stepping bridge) in 1891. In 1916, it moved to the 3rd basement level and changed its name to Busanjin Cathedral. In 1916, it moved to Terrysa Temple in Bumyeongdong. In 1965, the cathedral building was completed.
