Mandong Bakery

Definitely a bread-only bakery with the focus being on rustic savoury mini loaves and generously filled hot dogs and sandwiches. The "mugwort rice cake" loaf looked very good with the almonds, but I'm still not convinced that bread and rice cakes make a good combination. ;P - Mimi's Cake Tour

Absolutely delicious baked speciality breads. I was blown away by the free samples and bought a bacon and cheese ciabatta, flat bread pizza, and mochi red bean bun. Holy cowboy Jesus the baking technique here is amazing. The Americano I ordered to accompany everything was also fantastic. Definitely stop by if you are nearby! Very close to Hongik University subway metro station.

The strawberry tart is awesome, except a little bit pricy...

I went to buy garlic baguette, but I couldn't buy it because it was exhausted. I tried garlic baguette, onion bagel, cranberry cream cheese, cheese shoe blah blah, but the garlic baguette was really moist and delicious. Cheese Shoo was next delicious, but it was moist and the onion, corn and cream cheese went well together. Onion bagel seems to be a signature menu too, but the cream is really good, but personally, the bread is too dry, so I was a bit disappointed. But overall it was delicious
