Sweet Oak has a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, they have a fireplace in there during the winters when I visited and they even had a Christmas tree up. The food was delicious and it was quite surprising to find something like this in Wonju. I look forward to going again!

Hands down the best American Southern Style BBQ in Korea. Absolutely worth the trip from Seoul. Friendly staff, great value prices, and the food is excellent. Meats are smoked to perfection, and have a great bark on the outside. Weekends are ideal, to try the beef rib (Saturday) and the brisket.

Excellent American style BBQ with a great choice of sides. This place also has a wood burning fireplace which is wonderful in the cold winter months. They have a special for wings on Monday night, and their meat platters are a decent deal as well. Very tasty!

Sweet Oak consistently serves up delicious food and provides fantastic service. It's unquestionably by far the best place for American style BBQ in Korea and definitely worth the trek to Wonju. The friendly staff always makes sure that you have a great overall dining experience, and you're guaranteed to leave feeling very happy and satisfied.
