It is a stone pagoda showing the northern entrance of Silla culture to the north. Hyangseongsa Temple is the predecessor of the existing Shinheungsa Temple, which is said to have been first built in 652 by Queen Silla. The stone pagoda follows the typical stone pagoda style of the Unification Silla period, with three layers of body stones on the double podium. The body and roof stones are made of one stone each. Each floor body stone carved corner pillars on both sides and five-level roof support under the roof stone, and all of the upper wheel parts (decoration at the top of the tower) were removed, but the entire 9th-century Unification Silla stone pagoda style. Is following. During the initial dismantling repair, a saree hole was identified in the center of the 3rd floor Pagoda, but no remains were found. The stone tower is 4.33m high and is a precious cultural heritage with majestic yet concise beauty.
