Capsule Hotel 'Darakhyu' T1

Very positive experience here. The staff are helpful and the rooms are well cared for. Bed was soft and easy to relax and sleep on. Light controls right next to the bed and a built in Harmon/Kardon bluetooth speaker you can pair devices to. The room felt way more premium than I was expecting, or have had in the past 😆 My room was more spacious than I thought someplace called a capsule hotel would be. Rental times vary, longest defined time is 12 hours based on check-in time. My room had a room with a shower, if you choose to just have a bed then you'll need to use the community showers. Bathrooms are shared with everyone.

Can’t recommend it enough. A little difficult to find - you have to go through immigration, exit through baggage claim/customs, go to the second floor, cross the sky bridge and then go down one level once you’re in the railway area. We had a 10 hour layover in Seoul & needed rest after several flights before. We got the double room with shower. My boyfriend is over 6ft tall & we were very comfortable in the double bed. Pitch black with a fan for white noise. Very clean. Definitely do it - make sure you reserve in advance.

As opposed to looking for a bench to sleep on, a pricier transit hotel and Darakhyu, we picked the latter. To get to the hotel, right after exiting baggage claim, bear right and take the elevator to the basement. We picked the room with a shower. The door is heavy, I guess to insulate the noise from outside, and sure enough it was a quiet night's stay. It may be a bit cramped for two people simultaneously moving around, but it's alright. I think the bed is queen sized, comfortable and offers a good night's sleep. The shower is spacious enough for a large person to move around, water gets hot and the provided shampoo & body wash smells nice. Towels & bottled water are provided. Checking in & out is a breeze. You can browse and print documents in the business center (the PC's in Korean so make sure you know your way around Windows). Didn't have any issues with the common restroom since it's clean and didn't use it during peak times.

Good place if you need to rest for a few hours. The rooms are tiny but the bed was comfy. It was a bit difficult to find as it's not in the actual airport building and there are no signs until you are right next to it.

Took a room for 3 hours to get a nap. Well, rooms are as soundproof as a cardboard box. And my biggest complain is WHY, why your cleaning staff is using noisy vacuum cleaners!
